- My daughter Michaela has given me the most amazing new outlook on life. I have found strength in her strength, instant happiness in her laughter and the ability to look far beyond physical appearances. She is the most beautiful child inside and out. I believe that God gave me Michaela and her Hemangioma for a reason. It may sound strange but my family and I agree that we may even miss her Hemangioma once it is gone. It is a huge part of what makes Michaela the perfect little girl that she has become. All I want is for others to see the smart, strong, sweet and beautiful child that we all see. If I had one wish it would be for society to view everyone as their equal. No matter what God placed on their face or body at birth. I have witnessed adults staring and whispering and Michaela's reaction to it brought tears to my eyes. She looked back at them, with that contageous smile and said, "HI!" Michaela may never understand just how big of an impact she has had on my everyday actions towards others...but I will be forever grateful to her. Thank You God for blessing me with my sweet baby girl.
Wow Tara! She looks fantastic! And, in all the pics she has never lost that gleam in her eye. What a wonderful jog they did - it was Dr. Waner, right? Did you ever meet Dr. Levetin? He is who we are considering. I'm just so happy you posted, I have been wondering how you guys were doing!
